Taking a fresh look at the familiar!

A landscape and garden consultation is a great way to get a new perspective on your outdoor spaces. After a two to three hour consultation I will leave you with thought-provoking ideas, sketches for spatial and structural layouts, and suggestions for different trees, shrubs and perennials. If you wish, I can also formalize the layout sketches and plant lists, and mail you the written results within a few days.

Here are some of the reasons why my clients have contacted me for an on-site consultation:

I have gardened here for many years. Now I want someone to look my property through ‘new eyes’ and give me some fresh ideas.

Right now I have this big empty lawn all around my house. I want to turn it into a ‘real garden’ with interesting garden spaces.

We recently moved into a house with a very mature garden. Everything is crowded together and disorganized. I need help deciding what to keep and what to discard.

I am planning a new garden project and would like advice on how to implement it.

My property has steep slopes and poor drainage. How do I handle these?

Sometimes an on-site consultation raises many more ideas than we can easily develop during my visit. You might enjoy expanding these ideas yourself into a complete garden plan by taking my ‘Design Your Own Garden’ coaching session or workshop.

I bill all consultation time at $60.00 per hour. I charge for my time to drive to and from your home at $0.50 per mile.
