Let me help you create a New England garden for all seasons. I provide a wide range of landscape and garden design services, from on-site property reviews with quick idea sketches, to full garden plans and landscape designs with scale drawings and plant lists. Optionally I can also provide plant sourcing and project oversight.
If you would like to learn to design your own garden, I offer individual coaching and small group workshops. With my guidance and support you can create your own landscape designs and garden plans.
I am an empathetic and experienced Vermont landscape and garden designer, working for over a decade creating New England gardens that enhance people’s lives and enrich their minds and spirits.
A well-designed garden balances beauty and practicality; form and function. It offers a sanctuary where you can slow the pace of life and embrace the natural world. The well-designed garden is also sustainable. With plants matched to location, it ages gracefully, providing pleasure both now and for years to come.

I also give talks, presentations and classes on many aspects of landscape and garden design for a variety of organizations, including senior groups, garden clubs and master gardener programs. Everything is illustrated with beautiful photographs of Vermont gardens.
I am a Vermont Certified Horticulturist and a Vermont Master Gardener. I am a member of Green Works (Vermont Nursery & Landscape Association), the Garden Writers Association, the New England Wildflower Society, and the New England Landscape Design and History Association.
